Marc Udink
Marc Udink has been working in the legal profession since the mid-1980s. First in Rotterdam, then in The Hague. He is the co-founder of Udink & de Jong.
His practice has developed into national and international advisory in the field of banking law, financing and restructuring. Marc frequently acts as administrator and receiver in moratoriums and bankruptcies. Marc is a member of a considerable number of boards, supervisory boards and supervisory boards of public and private institutions. Both as a supervisory director and as a lawyer, Marc has developed into a much sought-after board room advisor, where his knowledge of and experience in the national and international public and private domain are widely considered masterful in their craft.
Marc is the Secretary General (CEO) of INSOL-Europe, the European organization dealing with insolvencies in the public and private sphere and also acts as a silent administrator and advisor for semi-government institutions and advises parliament and departments on fraud prevention. Marc often acts as a speaker at workshops, seminars and conferences.
Marc Udink is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Porcelyne Fles NV – the oldest listed company in the Netherlands. Marc is also the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Archeologisch Diensten Centrum NV and, at the request of the Minister of Culture, is a member of the board of the National Nature Museum “Naturalis”.
Marc is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA), Institute for Board, Global Insolvency American Bankruptcy Institute, INSOLAD, VNO-NCW, NCD and Fellow of the Foundation of the American Bar.
